Quick start

Which formats are supported on macOS?

UniReader for Mac supports PDF, EPUB, DjVu, CHM, FB2, MOBI/AZW3, CBZ/CBR, TXT, and other compatible text formats.

What is the difference between remove and delete?

Remove from library keeps files on disk. Delete from disk permanently removes files from referenced folders.

Can I apply actions to multiple documents?

Yes. Multi-selection supports batch operations, including remove-from-library and delete-from-disk actions.

Can I customize covers?

Yes. For PDF/DjVu, you can set a cover from a document page or from an image file.

Do annotations support Markdown and equations?

Yes. Notes support Markdown and equation preview in supported contexts.

Some files do not appear

Run Rescan Selection for the current scope, or Reload to rescan all sources.

Folder access issues

Re-add the source folder to refresh macOS security-scoped access permissions.

Equation preview does not render

Update to the latest build and open the integrated Help Center to verify local rendering assets.
